They placed BJ Crombeen on waivers today. Now, we can only have 3 guys who serve the exact same function instead of 4. We’re on our way to making an actual team!
Waiting for Neal to be called up before he starts leading the AHL in scoring…

Stars Get Sydor for Boucher

The rumored deal that kept me up until almost 4 am this morning is done: The Stars have sent Philippe Boucher to Pittsburgh for Darryl Sydor.
I think I am pleasantly surprised about this trade. I really like Boo, and I wanted him to finish his career as a Star. That being said, I think his [...]
Barry Melrose Fired

Barry Melrose has been fired from his job as head coach of the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Marty Brodeur is having elbow surgery and he’ll be out 3-4 months. This is the first time in over a decade that the Devils will be without Brodeur. Maybe we can offer them Avery as a trade?
James Neal is still not in Dallas. Boo Stars

Stars Sign Mark Parrish

to a one-year deal worth $500,000. That certainly is a lot less than what he was making for the Wild.
I don’t see this as any kind of “fix” for the team. If we were going to go after some “veteran” to “calm down the room” we should have gone with Brendan Shanahan. At least he [...]
