Welcome to our blog! We are a pair of best friends, partners in crime, and hockey fans. You may have seen us at games: We’re usually at the bottom of Section 102 during pregame skate with our massive book of signs.
Amy – I went to my first Stars game on March 16, 1997 against the Pittsburgh Penguins. I still have my ticket stub and program and everything. That wasn’t, however, my first hockey game. Since my parents are from Buffalo, NY, I was exposed to hockey at a very early age in Oklahoma. After my first Stars game, I was completely hooked. You can usually find me wearing a Cat in the Hat style green and white hat with gold star decorations. Yes, I did make it myself… and no, I don’t block anyone’s view during the games. I consider myself good luck for the Stars (at least against the Red Wings). I’ve seen Detroit 6 times and never seen the Stars lose to the hated Red Wings.
Sarah – I went to my first Stars game on December 29, 2002 against the Detroit Red Wings thanks to Amy and since then I have never looked back! It wasn’t my first hockey game however, as I had been to many, many OKC Blazers games with Amy and my parents over the years. Like Amy, I have never seen a loss against Detroit (though I’ve only seen them three times). I am quite possibly Marty Party’s biggest fan ever…just ask any person who comes in contact with me at games (and Amy would probably laugh endlessly if you asked). At the games, you’ll see me with Amy and her giant hat and me with a goalie mask perched atop my head…and of course our super awesome signs!

Hey girls – I took your picture at the game last night but have no idea how to send it to you.
email me or something so I can get it too ya.
Ladies – I was the Caps fan in front of you two on 25 October (it should be said that games against the Caps are the only time I don’t cheer for the Stars because I was from the area before crossing the Rubicon into Texas). And to anyone reading, I said it to them and I’ll say it here – these two need their own show. Maybe you two with Razor? That would definately be must-see TV.
Peace out and Go Stars!
Ross
Thanks Ross! It was great to sit behind you last night. I was commenting to Sarah about how nice you were for an away team fan… I guess that explains it
In honor of our old farts discussion last night, the Russian old fart had a better game than the American old fart.
It sucks that Ovechkin didn’t score.. I actually wanted to see him get a goal!
