I’m starting this blog a nice and early 12 hours before the game! I’ll try to blog some throughout the day because I am getting way too excited to sit here with all these non-hockey fans in San Antonio.
9:00 am – I woke up to Pantera this morning and then the goal horn… hopefully that’ll be good luck.
You had all better be wearing Stars stuff today!
1:00 pm – All of my classes are done for today! That just leaves me 8 hours until the game starts, so I’ll have to figure out something to occupy my time.
8:52 pm – It’s almost time for the game! I’m proud to let all of you know that my mom and I had duck for dinner tonight on the Riverwalk. I might blog some during the game, but I don’t know if I’ll be able to pay attention to the computer.
End of first period – The Stars are leading 2-0 with two power play goals from Robi/Ott and Eriksson. I tried to blog some during the game, but I kept thinking I was going to throw my laptop so I put it up for the period.
See you guys at the end of the second.
Results from Day 2:
Game 1: STARS at Ducks
Game 1: Bruins at Habs
The Habs win the first game of the series 4-1 (which happens to be my mom’s favorite hockey score ever)
Montreal leads series 1-0
Game 1: Trashville at Wings
Thankfully, the Redwings win this 3-1 with an empty net goal at the end of the game. I don’t like the Redwings, but I’d hate to see Trashville win even one game.
Detroit leads series 1-0
Game 2: Flames at Sharks
WOW. All I have to say is, holy 5-holes batman! We WON a game one! Last night was an incredible performance by the Stars. Now all the guys need to do now is keep locking it down and not back off. I certianly believe, do you?
